Hatim Sati is a public health physician and a technical officer at the World Health Organization (WHO), AMR Division, leading priority-setting research for antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and infectious diseases (IFD).
In his current role, he is leading a number of global research projects aimed at setting global priorities for the research and development of new antimicrobial medicines, ensuring equitable access to existing treatments and other prevention and control interventions.
Hatim’s previous experience includes clinical medicine as well as communicable diseases surveillance, prevention, and control across over 22 countries in the WHO region of the Americas.
