Esther Bettiol is Associate Lead Medical Sciences at GARDP. Esther has been working in the field of antibiotic research and development (R&D) for over 10 years. Before joining GARDP in 2018, she worked in orphan drug clinical development and subsequently at the University of Geneva, where she was involved in the Innovative Medicine Initiative (IMI) COMBACTE and DRIVE-AB projects.
Esther holds MD and PhD degrees from the University of Geneva, Switzerland, and has undergone postdoctoral training in malaria and Chagas disease at New York University.
