John Bradley is a paediatric infectious diseases physician, a Professor of Paediatrics and Infectious Diseases at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD), and the Administrative Director of Infectious Diseases at Rady Children’s Hospital, San Diego. His career has focused on Phase 1 through Phase 4 evaluation of new therapeutic agents for multi-drug resistant pathogens using pharmacokinetics-pharmacodynamics and clinical/microbiologic outcomes/targets.
John has served on the FDA’s Anti-infective Drug Advisory Committee and the American Academy of Paediatrics Committee on Infectious Diseases and has represented paediatrics on the Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA) Task Force to spur global commitment to the development of new, unique antibiotics. He has participated in the writing of IDSA/PIDS Guidelines for Paediatric Community Pneumonia, Intra-abdominal Infection, Acute Bacterial Osteomyelitis, and Acute Bacterial Arthritis.
