Julie Marsh is the Biostatistical Lead in the Wesfarmers Centre of Vaccines and Infectious Diseases at the Telethon Kids Institute (TKI), Australia. She is also Senior Research Fellow in the Adaptive Health Intelligence team co-located between TKI and the University of Sydney, Australia.

She has over 30 years of experience as a statistical consultant, working initially in the pharmaceutical industry before returning to academia. Julie specializes in Bayesian adaptive clinical trials and statistical methods for detecting adverse events following immunization. She has statistical oversight for a portfolio of adaptive randomized controlled trials and platform trials in vaccines and infectious diseases, in various populations (including adults and children), and socio-economic settings. At the Australian Clinical Trial Alliance (ACTA), she trains and mentors the next generation of statistical trialists.

Julie holds a masters in medical statistics from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, UK as well as a PhD in genetic epidemiology from the University of Western Australia. She also has chartered status from the Royal Statistical Society.
