R&D funding mechanisms

Link Description
CARB-X is investing $455 million in 2016-2021 to support the development of antibiotics and other therapies, vaccines, rapid diagnostics and devices to address the rising global threat of drug-resistant bacteria.
The Joint Programming Initiative on Antimicrobial Resistance (JPIAMR) is funding 65 M Euros of basic and exploratory research on new antibiotics, stewardship of existing antibiotics, and studies and control of the spread of antibiotic resistance between humans, animals, and the environment in a One Health perspective.
