Daniela Zinzi is an infectious diseases specialist with several years of clinical and research experience in top, Italian institutions and consolidated expertise in the pharmaceutical industry; leading in medical affairs and global R&D roles.

Daniela’s professional career started at the Catholic University Hospital and later the National Institute for Infectious Diseases in Rome. She then moved to Bristol Myers Squibb, where she managed HIV, HCV and HBV products, followed by Menarini, where she established a new research area and anti-infectives R&D portfolio. Daniela is currently the Executive Director of Clinical R&D at F2G and actively supports the European Commission as an expert advisor.

Her dedication to the field of antimicrobials and ensuring availability of appropriate diagnostic tools and therapeutics to address unmet medical need led to her interest and engagement in identifying access solution strategies relevant to addressing the main challenges in the therapeutic area.

Since 2021, Daniela has supported GARDP as a Medical Consultant, providing strategic advice and support across the Partnership’s R&D portfolio.
