Sumati Nambiar is board-certified in paediatrics and paediatric infectious diseases. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Paediatrics and has over 25 years of experience in drug development and regulatory science. Currently, she is a member of the Child Health Innovation and Leadership Department at Johnson & Johnson. Before joining Johnson & Johnson, Sumati worked at the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for 22 years in various roles, including 8 years as Director of the Division of Anti-Infectives, overseeing regulatory processes for the development of anti-infective medicines and promoting advances in regulatory strategies.
