Speaker: Paul Hergenrother, Kenneth L. Rinehart Endowed Chair in Natural Products Chemistry, Department of Chemistry and the Institute for Genomic Biology, University of Illinois, US

Moderator: Laura Piddock, Director of Scientific Affairs, GARDP

In this webinar, Paul Hergenrother detailed his research group’s efforts to understand compound accumulation in the Gram-negative ESKAPE pathogens. Emphasis was placed on the practicality, actionability, and translatability of this information, specifically, the use of accumulation rules to convert high-value Gram-positive-only compounds into antibiotics with activity against key Gram-negative pathogens.

The presentation was followed by a Q&A session.

This live webinar including interactive Q&A session was broadcast on 7 November 2019.
