Definition:

DELT are libraries of small chemicals, each attached to a unique DNA sequence that acts as a barcode.

This allows the construction and screening of large combinatorial libraries, thus facilitating the discovery of ligands to many different protein targets. DELT is used in medicinal chemistry to bridge the fields of combinatorial chemistry and molecular biology.
